Prize Overview
1-Day Workshop with Otto M. Schwarz
Win an exclusive full-day workshop in 2026 with the renowned wind band composer — hosted at your orchestra’s location.
Together, you will rehearse and develop a composition by Otto M. Schwarz of your choice. During more than four hours of intensive musical work, your ensemble will receive professional guidance and personal artistic insights directly from the composer — a truly unique experience for the entire band.
Austrian composer Otto M. Schwarz (born 1967) is internationally known both as a film composer and as founder of the publishing house Symphonic Dimensions Publishing, established in 2019. He has written music for advertising, film productions and television networks including ARD, ZDF and ORF. Since 1995, he has composed numerous symphonic works such as
„Nostradamus“„Around the World in 80 Days“,
„Dragon Fight“or
„Man in the Ice“performed worldwide.

Select at least one prize.
You may enter one, two, or all three prize draws.
Each prize has its own separate draw pool.
This means you can be entered into up to three draws.

Eligibility
Open to individuals residing in Europe.
Participation is also permitted on behalf of an association or orchestra.

Entry Requirements
Successful subscription to the Stretta Wind Band Letter via double opt-in confirmation.
You must remain an active newsletter subscriber at the time of the draw (2 May 2026).
Registration for at least one of the three prizes.
Prize selections may be changed at any time until the end of the entry period.
Unsubscribing from the newsletter before the draw date will automatically result in disqualification.
Winner Selection
A separate random draw will be conducted for each prize.
Winners will be selected at random on 2 May 2026.
One winner per main prize will be selected (exception: 25 individual music stand prizes).
Workshop Prize Conditions
Workshop will take place during 2026.
Minimum ensemble size: 20 musicians.
Date and repertoire will be agreed individually.
No cash alternative or transfer of the prize is permitted.
No costs will be charged to the winner. Travel and accommodation expenses of the instructor will be covered by the organiser.

Personal data will be processed exclusively for the administration of the prize draw and newsletter distribution in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
