A vivid and colorful work for symphonic band, CANZONETTA makes use of energetic rhythmic figurations, and expressive melodic lines to produce a fine overture in contemporary style. Cast in three parts, the warm and flowing middle section provides excellent contrast to the vigor and excitement of the two outer parts.
