Two Lyric Pieces

Two Lyric Pieces is an arrangement of two Edvard Grieg lyric piano pieces. The two contrasting movements, In My Native Country, a somber, reverential homage to his native Norway, and the energetic Spring Dance promote ensemble listening with the ease of first position melodies. The movements are a good introduction to Grieg's folk-inspired mastery.
