Rainer Maria Rilke gives the well-known Orpheus myth a surprising turn: when Orpheus turns around, Eurydike does not recognise him (any more). In his piano piece composed as a compulsory piece for the Bremen Piano Competition 2009, Wilfried Hiller portrays this dramatic situation vividly and powerfully.
