From a series of “American” mass movements, Ron Kean has combined the traditional Latin movements with American hymns or folk songs. The “Gloria” follows this pattern, partnering an exuberant originalmelody with “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing.” With festive rhythms and driving percussion, this exciting piece is perfect for concert or church.
