Trio in F major

As the autograph is apparently lost, the present new publication is based on their first print. Particularly noticeable is the for this period uncommonly wide range of the bassoon part, which exceeds even that of Beethoven's trio.

Although the piano-trio repertoire with violin and cello at the time of Rasetti was richly equipped with great works by Mozart and Joseph Haydn (over 40!), in their alternative combination with flute and bassoon, his trios certainly belong to the highlights of this genre.
