Your creation will be based on ten symbols (widespread chords and chords in close position, ascending and descending movements, loops, and so on). Within a given symbol, you are free to choose absolutely any note(s) you want. The most important thing is to gain experience through playing, following the explanations as they occur throughout the book. Each student will be able to develop individually, creating his or her own palettes and plans for building blocks, also making use of traditional harmonies if they have been mastered in themeantime.
