Luciano Fancelli was an Italian accordionist and composer. Son of a violinist and a pianist, at 16 Luciano Fancelli joined the Fancelli dance orchestra, founded by his parents and active in Foligno immediately after the war.
In the meantime he dedicated himself to composition, publishing for Ricordi, Berben, Campi and other music houses.
The song Non così, on verses by the lyricist Gian Carlo Testoni, was a particular success, also performed by the Angelini orchestra.
The success of his debut on the radio in 1947, led Rai to entrust him with the columns Voices and instruments in freedom and Luciano Fancelli and his accordion.
As an accordionist he ranged from classical music to light music and jazz, developing some technical improvements intended to be industrialized and implemented on modern accordions.
