His Life
Marc Jeanbourquin learnt piano, trumpet, trombone and euphonium from an early age. As a qualified teacher he gives French, German and computer science lessons alongside teaching trombone and music theory at various music schools.
Parallel to his work as a teacher, he trained as a conductor, and earned his diploma in wind and brass conducting from the Freiburg Conservatoire. He won many awards with the brass band `Musique militaire de Rougemont´, and in 2020 he took over as musical director of the `Harmonie de la Suisse Romande´.
His works for concert band, brass band and fanfare orchestra are performed all over the world, he also composes for various different musical forces, and his musical `TEMPUS´ was particularly well received by both audiences and critics.
