Echoes Of A Blue Planet

Laura Barron, in collaboration with pianist , Jeffrey Sykes, introduces her new CD, Echoes of a Blue Planet. This eclectic recording features classical flute and piano compositions inspired by various folk traditions. Works include Bartok's Hungarian Peasant Dances , Piazzola's Tango Etude No. 3, Borne's Carmen Fantasy, Katherine Hoover's Kokopeli, Foss' Three American Pieces and Roussel's Jouers du Flute as well as Latin and Celtic selections.
