Nasty Bit Of Blues, A

Commissioned by the Loveland, Ohio, Music Boosters for their high school jazz band, this blues tune gives directors a great opportunity to teach developing ensembles many of the most basic swing figures. A strong melody, an open solo section (written parts provided for all instruments on a separate solo sheet), and abundant full group work make for winning combination in anyone's book.
