from L'Arlesienne Suite No. 2
This famous Farandole is from the Suite for Orchestra No.2, published in 1879, four years after the death of Bizet. Bizet drew his inspiration for Farandole whilst soaking up the sun and traditions of the Provence region of France. This arrangement in four parts with flexible woodwind/brass instrumentation remains faithful to the original and will grace any performance, whether for exams, concerts or just for fun!
