Annie's Song

John Denver became a star as a bright-eyed, clear-voiced singer-songwriter in glasses and a cowboy hat. His love for the environment and his then wife Annie Martell inspired the romantic and wildly successfulAnnie’s Song, which is said to have been written in ten minutes on a ski lift.
