In this piece, the composer uses a language that greatly enlarges a set of continuous or fragmented sliding figures that pass from one instrument to another. To this, he superimposes nineteen short moments that represent nineteen animals of Oceanian continent by their shouting, singing or growling – like in a picture book: Bird of paradise, Black swan, Cassowary, Cockatoo, Common brushtail possum, Crowned pigeon or Goura, Dingo, Emu, Kangaroo, Kea, Kiwi, Koala, Laughing kookaburra, Platypus, Saltwater crocodile, Short-beaked echidna, Superb lyrebird, Tasmanian Devil, Wombat.
