MusicWorks Grade 4
Percy Grainger composed this work for “6 hands at one piano” in 1902, and subsequently he began a version for percussion ensemble which was never completed. Using sketches of this incomplete arrangement, Preston Hazzard has created a unique settingfor concert band. The transparent and delicate lilting nature of the original work comes through in this appealing arrangement for winds and percussion.
