Symphony No. 6

Symphony No. 6 was commissioned by the New York Philharmonic for its 125th anniversary, and is dedicated to the orchestra and its conductor, Leonard Bernstein. As a tribute to this powerful American composer, its premiere by that orchestra was led by the composer, himself.
