Johann Adolf Hasse's Requiem in B Flat was written in the second half of the 1750s and is available in print for the first time.

Nothing is known about the intentions of this beautiful work, nor whether it was ever performed during the composer's lifetime. Several adaptations to the Requiem in C and the later Requiem in E-flat show how dedicated Hasse was to the compositional process.
