600 Selected Works for Wind Orchestra and Wind Ensembles - Grade 2-3" contains recommended wind works of almost 300 composers from 26 different countries in easy to medium level of difficulty. The list also includes works for chamber ensemble with aminimum of 6 players. All works are available in print. Close to 100 publishers are represented.
The main aim of this book is to help conductors of medium level ensembles to find repertoire to perform in concerts. Besides original works you will also find transcriptions and marches. The repertoire covers more than 400 years of music history.

Besides the compositional structure, the art of orchestration and the originality of the work was a criteria to be included in this list. The authors also tried to cover a wide stylistic variety. Several of these works do have a pedagogical touch.
