Maple Leaf Rag

Scott Joplin is considered one of the founders of classical ragtime. The strict rhythmic character, the lively harmony and impulsive dynamics of this music are expressed in perfection. Of Joplin's many ragtimes, "Maple Leaf Rag" (1899) and "The Entertainer" (1902) are the best known.
