"« Jesous ahatonhia », for saxophone quartet, was commissioned by the Fondazione Adkins Chiti: Donne in Musica for its concert series ControCanto: Natale in Musica in Italy in 2013. It was premiered in Roma on December 18, 2013, by Kommandaria Sax Quartet.
« Jesous ahatonhia » (« Jesus, he is born ») is based on a Christmas carol (known as the « Huron carol ») written by the missionary Jean de Brébeuf in the native language of Huron people, in 1641 or 1642."
