Stuart MacRae's Old Certainties was commissioned by Wolsey Orchestra, Ipswich, with generous funding from the Performing Rights Society Foundation New Works Award and first performed 10th October 2009 by Wolsey Orchestra,conducted by Anthony Weeden, in Ipswich Corn Exchange.
