Zita is the second movement of Suite Troileana, an inspiring work that Piazzolla wrote in 1975, in response to the death of the bandeonist, tango musician and composer Aníbal Troilo - who had been his mentor at the beginning of his career. Suite Troileana is playful in character, but it also has a moving and melancholic side. Both moods can be found in Zita, the movement that has been arranged by Marc Belder, especially for accordion orchestra.
