This musical setting of a German poem by an unknown poet (English translation by Matthias Rein) has won second prize at the prestigious composition competition of the ChorVerband NRW in 2012, as has the musical setting of the same text for men's choir by Hermann Große-Schware (product number C55552).The charming clusters in the lower voices ensure a quiet and peaceful mood in which the highest soprano voice emerges. Thus, this delicate setting is a vivid graphic expression of the words of the poem.
