The Day We Called It A Night

Starts out at a slower tempo with a “loose” jazz feel a la Art Blakey. After some very tasty writing for the saxes, the tempo picks up to a little more than double time and the whole band gets in the act. Lots of solo space for any brass player. After an exciting “shout chorus”, the tempo goes back to the slower tempo for a very tasty and unique ending. Ranges are very reasonable for this grade level. First class competition or concert chart for better bands! Don’t miss this one!
