The Four Seasons

Islands was inspired by an eight mile strip of revitalized prairie along Illinois Route 6 between Litchfield and Gillespie. The subtly changed colors of the prairie grasses and the surrounding farmland provided vivid contrast with the flashes fo bright color from turning leaves.
