Sonata in G minor, Op. 5, No. 2

The giant of academic scholarship in music, Donald Tovey, made the keyboard part of this edition in 1918, consulting Beethoven’s sketches and the original edition. This edition has again been checked against the original edition, but Tovey’s revealing notes have been kept and updated by reference to the Henle edition.

The cello part is edited by Percy Such.
